I contacted the PO of my 90' car and the fuel pumps have never been changed. I am thinking I should replace them as a preventive measure.
I believe I will use the Delphi FE0039 pumps unless someone knows of a reason why I should not. I wanted to ask if there is anything else you would recommend replacing while I am making the pump swap. Thanks for sharing your wisdom. |

I switched to single pump after I bought the billet Y connector from Carter @ CT Machining. This replaces the brittle plastic Y that will crack and leak in time. You can do a search on the forum for more info. Image1659836988.362480.jpg $75 shipped in US. Sent from my iPhone using ZR-1 Net Registry

It's nice, easy to install and eliminates most the issues the dual pump design has. If you consider 2 new Delphi pumps, socks, Y adapter, submersible fuel lines and new clamps the difference isn't too big.

Sorry, I guess you should have been given first dibs as a reply to your inquiry. As mentioned, Carter sells them here or email him at: ctmachining@gmail.com As Matt mentioned I would go with the single fuel pump with stainless housing and all brand new parts. I just assumed you were trying to keep it original. Sent from my iPhone using ZR-1 Net Registry

Flyman 27 is the one to get in touch with. His kit is also on ebay if you want to see pictures. But better to buy from him directly instead of making big tech even richer
