I own a 92 ZR1. The passenger door has a bad clunk to it when you close it. It only happens when the window is part way down. I can't find anything loose and the felt anti rattle guides look good, any ideas?

They all do it, I just try to be a little more gentle if the window isn't all the way down or all the way up.

Well...
Looks like I won't have to take apart my passenger door. Mine rattles too when the window isn't all the way up and you close the door. ... .. . Drat. I was hoping to cure that. What causes it and why doesn't the drivers door do it as bad? Tom |

You might take a look at your door lock linkage, the factory retainers/guides or pretty weak - if a linkage rod slips out of the guide it can rattle.
