Can anyone steer me in the right direction on how to make the inner 2 lamps only, work as the indicators. I have the amber lenses. It?s an state requirement here in Australia for registration that the rear indicator be amber. Thanks in advance.

You should be able to modify the harness. You can use a test light to figure out what wire does what and then just cut the ones you don't need to get the configuration you want

you will need to run an extra wire.. from the turn signal switch under the dash, or snag the brake light wire from the CHMSL.. I ran an new wire form the switch for my euro lamps, that new wire became the brake light and the existing wire became the turn signal.

You will need to modify your tail lights, parkers and install side markers to get a VASS (as well as set belts etc). I have some PDF instructions but can't seem to post them here, send me a PM and I'll try to attach it to the reply.
The alternative is to have someone take care of all modifications, engineering & RWC - I can recommend someone in Melbourne if you want to go down this path (he did my 95 last year). |
