Bose radio screen fading- any fix suggestions?
My Bose radio screen has started to fade. The black numbers are still good but the orange background is turning dark and obscuring the numbers.
Yep, the radio is old so it needs attention. Is there a fix or is sending it off the only option? I ask as I have a 04 ZO6 that has a similar problem with the HVAC and there was a fix whereby you just did some simple soldering of a connection and then everything worked again. Thanks!

Dr. Don is the man for the Bose radio. Did mine in 2012 and has been perfect since!
