The 95 ZR-1 I bought came with a locking gas cap. I hate locking gas caps and I have never had my fuel stolen so I would prefer to replace it with whatever originally came on the car (I assume a locking cap was not original). I would prefer to use a factory GM part if possible, can someone point me in the direction of a proper factory replacement cap...if one can be purchased.
Edit: is this the proper cap: https://www.ebay.com/itm/29340966617...Cclp%3A2334524 Thank you. |

If you're an NCRS fan, note, the gas cap has a date code.
I don't recall the details, but someone here will probably chime in..... |

If there are any NOS ones out there I am sure someone on here knows about them and will post up.
If you are OK with used, contact Mark at Mirrock Corvette. He will have some. ![]()

Is there any reason one of these won't fit a '91? I also have a locking cap which annoys the heck out of me. |

I believe the only difference is the printed message on the outside of the cap so it should work. For the price it's worth a try.
