Default F.I.C. Fuel Injectors for a 1990 ZR1

I just replaced my fuel injectors with F.I.C. Injectors. I don't believe the new injectors are as close to the injector housing as the old injectors were. There is definitely a bigger space. Everything is installed properly, checked, and re-checked. Is this normal for these injectors? Please see the attached pictures which show the same four injectors - old injectors before removal and the new injectors after installation. I just chose these particular four to show you to compare. All other injectors look the same. Thank you for your help.

I had the same issue with same exact injectors on a 92 and with accel injectors on a 95. I loosens the inner bracket on the rail and then push them down and just snug the screw again and it worked for me. I like the all stainless FIC injectors better

Thank you for your information. I was thinking of doing the same thing only I wasn't sure if I should do that. Looks like that's what I'm going to try. Have a great day.
