Default A/C Compressor Not Cycling

Whats up guys... well in the past ive been able to add a can of 134a to the system and it holds for a season or two... So I noticed the air blowing warm on the way to work yesterday and figured Id got a can and do what Ive done in the past.... not so lucky this time. I accidentally over filled the system and the compressor wont cycle now. I let some out via the low side schrader valve and the needle is now back in the green (w/o compressor cycling). The A/C fuse is good, but I cant jump the low side pressure switch to engage the clutch. Any ideas on what to do next here?
Thanks, John

**edit** : I checked the codes using the fan up/down buttons... I think its saying -00 so 100? Theres no others...

Got it figured out myself.... So I guess when a code is set there will be no power sent to the LP switch until the battery is disco'd and the HVAC controller is reset.

Got that figured out and then figured out that when the freon is low the clutch will cycle 3 or 4 times, then the code resets again.

I had a code 9. Well, the problem was the little gauge thats provided on the recharge can was not reliable and telling me it was full and in the red zone when it actually was not.

During my research, I came across a post about looking at the evaporator in the squirrel cage housing and checking to see the foam was still in place. Mine was and was also amazingly soft and pliable still.... But I did find this junk in there from a long time ago I suppose...

Temp went from 49 to 40 degrees after cleaning it all out of there..

Well, I was able to have one nice cool drive to work..... on the way home the compressor started cycling fast again and a code 9 reappeared... Thinking I have a leak so I started looking around for loose connections etc. I found the conversion fitting for the R-12 to R-134a was oily and dirty on the bottom side of it. I took a wrench to it and it was pretty loose. Got a few turns out of it and Im hoping thats where the freon is escaping.. Everything else is tight and dry. Ill update after trying another recharge.

Good luck! I also recently fought issues with my A/C. Don't know where you are located but here it's pretty warm these days, so A/C is key for a nice ZR-1 experience.
