And Jerry comes through again. Took a couple of drives to get all the leftover oil off of it, but after the last 2 drives, the cardboard underneath shows not a drop anymore.

Question on the oil temp sensor for gauge readout: looks like a 90-91 can use the 92-95 oil temp sensor if the screw in bushing is changed out on the housing to one which accommodates the 92-95 version, correct? What size bushing is that? Asking because my needle barely lifts off the cold peg for oil temp and new 90-91 oil temp gauge sensors are pretty much extinct.

The '92 - '95 sensor fits without the bushing.

Many people have replaced the oil temperature sensor and have been disappointed. The scale on the gauge is non-linear. When the needle is pointed at the second zero in the "100" on the gauge the oil temperature is about 180 degrees. That's normal.
