We've got it cold here, too. But we've also got it THIN. The air, that is.
Now that I'm more familiar with the car (was too afraid to drive it right during the test drive and xport back to the casa), I can't wait to get her back to sea level and see how she feels there. Gotta be a noticable difference. |

That rear-mounted TT setup we're reading about might hold some promise - at least knock those mtns down to size a little!? Dang! Franktown, huh? I've got a pair of friends who live down there and work with me up at Buckley. Commute kinda sucks (I suck it up and pay the toll on E470), but nothing like the traffic I endured whe I was in DC. The folks there deserve a medal for putting up with that... This area is by far the nicest place we've lived. We're going to keep the house and maybe return once I retire. I totally understand why you want to come back!! |

After it would warm up and air circulated about, I suppose the wires would dry out and it would run better. I dunno. I'm just tickled that it is running good now, and hope that continues for a while! ![]() In the process of fixing this one item, I spent many hours studying the FSM. So, if nothing else, I got a good bit of "book learnin" on the LT5. I'm not ready to time the cams or anything like that, but at least I know about the cam timing adjusments have a procedure to do it! ![]() ![]() Good luck w/ your quest. P. |
