It has been a crazy year in the auto business, as a whole the used car market has been VERY strong the last 12 months, many used cars selling for a good 10% over wholesale market a year ago, usually I expect DOWN 10 to 20% a year MANY manufacturers have had plant closures due to covid and resulting parts shortages so supply is down substantially and for demand is up, interest at 3% loans sure helps so prices were bound to go up I was a dealer for many years, still talk to my old buddies still
working . As far as restored older cars, when restorers are charging $100 a hour the cost to restore anything is thru the roof |
