Came across this surfing this morning. I like the idea and is priced fairly cheap......Deciding if I want one and where I would put it. And I'm not talking a huge plaque like the Pontiac G8 on the websites main page. A smaller one that could fit in the engine bay somewhere.

id stick with Lees MerCruiser plate it seems to be at home on top of the Map Sensor bracket

I purchased this hood insert at Carlisle 2 years ago from a member who sold his ZR-1 and was clearing out his leftover "goodies". This slides in between the hood light wire supports. First time I ever saw anything like this and have not seen one since.

Thanks for sharing. It?s pretty cool idea for the car shows. I might consider something like this for the ECM, not sure and will redo my motor/engine bay when I can get back to my car.

Hey Charlie! You have something nice and unique there and never seen that. Years ago I had something similar made from a vendor on ZR-1 Registry merchandise but no longer listed. Yours looks like vinyl?, whereas mine is carpeting like a floor mat. It came with two more pieces with the year and prod # in the other two blanks. I had it made for my now sold 90 so I put just the other pieces on only for show as with all the other Carter200 bling on my 95. I?ll be cutting out those two other spaces to install the Greenwood hood vents.

Yours looks great Craig and you are correct, mine is vinyl but with the look of leather. The ZR-1 is raised embossed and Corvette is embroidered with red threads.

Thanks and I like the one you found too. The design is cool with the red trimming. The only thing I don?t like about mine is when it is off there are huge Velcro strips on the hood. [emoji1303]🤙🏼
