Can someone verify for me the fusible link wire gauge I need to the primary and secondary cooling fans. Battery acid got the best mine and the wire is mush. I read a thread that said 20 gauge, I just want to be sure.
Thanks Rich

Someone might be able to tell you exactly but rule of thumb is fusible link is 4 ga. smaller than the wire protecting. If wire to fan circuit is 14 ga. fusible link would be 18. I think the length needs to be matched to OEM length also.

What you are seeing may not be battery acid damage but actually a fusible link having done its job. You might have a bad fan. |
