I would have to see it in a car; not a rendering.

I considered the Mercury SB4 for a minute when I lost my LT5, but it ended up being way less money to have Pete do one of his 391 cid builds for me. The <$19K price point of a new LT5 crate motor would make it more compelling, but I think I'd still go with Pete's 391 or his 441. The new LT5 would need a lot of work to make it fit/work, whereas a built original style LT5 is just a swap in and tune. The 391 is honestly all you need on the street (600+HP and revs to 7400rpm), while his 441 is going to make close to new LT5 power (700+?).

The trip to Mercury Marine in Wisconsin left an indelible mark in my hot running wants!

Paul, did you make a typo? Shouldn't there be a "P" where the "W" is? --Bob

Look at it,does that look like a nicely detailed engine GM would be proud to show off,and that plastic bucket on the top? I love the C8 and would own one but there are a few areas GM just didn?t get it. The engine with all the crap hangin off of it? If GM tried a little harder they could have done more to the appearance of the engine. We all know GM can make an engine look as good as anything from Europe, they did it once with the original LT5.
