If you look closely at the door handles you can see the texture is flat and also the white polish residue in the texture of the paint on the door handle, same thing for the side trim. Somebody buffed my first C4 and it was the same way. This cars been for sale for at least 3 years now. That car was beat the first time it made the rounds, that would explain the hack buff job. The first time around the paint was thrashed, the front spoiler was in bad shape and the carpet was muddy. Back then the price was $42,000 I think,I’m sure it could be found if somebody did some digging. What boggles the mind is why would anybody keep a car new,no miles and let it just bounce around from one place to another and in the process let it get beat up? That car might be worth $30,000 if somebody wanted it bad enough or less if the seller is tired of looking at it.

I might add that at $48,000 that car will need to be absolutely perfect, visually at least. The maintenance issues to get it to run is a different story.
