Afternoon All:

RE HOTEL BLOCK FOR GATHERING 2020

Please note that Holiday Inn (University Plaza, Bowling Green) has opened up the block of rooms for the 2020 Gathering. The Gathering will commence Wednesday evening, May 13 with the usual Meet and Greet at Holiday Inn and conclude Saturday evening, May 16 with the Banquet.

You can book your rooms one of two ways:

1) Call 1-800-HOLIDAY or (270) 745-0088 - be sure to quote BLOCK CODE: ZR2 (not a mistake, it is ZR2 and not ZR1 or ZR-1); or,

2) Book online at www.hibowlinggreen.com. Be sure to enter ZR2 in the GROUP CODE box to get the block rate of $133.00.

Finally, a note on rates. The rate of $133 per night includes breakfast for two people at the Holiday Inn restaurant. You may request a cheaper rate of $113 per night if you call at the numbers provided above and quote the ZR2 code; however, with the cheaper rate: 1) you pay at the time of booking and your payment will NOT be refunded if you cancel; 2) breakfast is NOT included. With the cheaper rate of $113, breakfast can be purchased at check-in for $9.95 per person per day (not for two people).

RE GATHERING 2020 AGENDA

The ZR-1 NR board of directors has been working on the agenda for some time and will have a well-developed version available very shortly. With this being a special ZR-1 anniversary year (30th), we are working with people who were instrumental in the ZR-1-LT5 program at Lotus and GM, to participate in the seminar and panel segments of the Gathering. We want to have as much detail as possible about these participants in the first release of the agenda. You can count on the Gathering agenda including the usual events that have become part of the program for the past few years.

Was unable to book online with ZR2, website says no availability for the block. Called the direct number above and was able to get a room after some wrangling by the reservation agent.

Reservations at the normal rate should be available
when the â€œblocksâ€ are full? Itâ€™s a big hotel...

The Registry gets a great deal compared to the normal rate!

After the 1st block filled, not wanting to miss the event, I made
a reservation at the normal rate. A few days later, changed it to
the block rate after additional rooms were added to the block.
