The rear impact bar of a ZR-1, the aluminum portion, is the same as a base model and it is the honeycomb absorber (replaced with foam in the later cars) attached to it which is ZR1 specific. We have a complete ZR1 rear impact bar available. - Mirrock Corvette

Bump, I'm still only missing the rear impact bar. Not too far from Montreal, please (NY/NH/VT/ME/QC/ON/NB would be great).

Chicago is 14 hours from my place, I did drive 2h past Chicago for the rear bumper cover/quarter panel, but I won't do it for an impact bar. And 1990 will not fit, confirmed. 1990 doesn't have the bracket on passenger side for the fuel vapor canister.
1991/1992 and some 1993. |

Have the rear impact bar sent to a holding warehouse in Plattsburgh New York. Then pick up the rear impact bar from there. That's how I do it.

I do that for pretty much everything and not only car parts, but shipping for an impact bar costs more than the impact bar itself...

So you don't want to pay shipping and import duties, but you also don't want to drive too far...or build a bracket...your options are going to be pretty limited.
