They’re actually a ceramic/enamel hat or lapel pin with the pin ground off the back, obtained from a vendor at a local Brit car show. You’d be surprised how many Brit car owners know about the ZR-1/Lotus connection, unlike the folks at the usual cruise nite...

Ha Ha maybe in your area. We have a Chicago area annual British car show and when I wasn't displaying British cars, a couple of times I tried to get the Lotus group to let me in to the show with a ZR-1. After all, they allow Nash Metropolitans in with an Austin engine. No go. They were a little bit uppity about the request, noses in the air in British fashion as it were. Oh well, their loss about being able to brag about a great story. By the way, I had some Lotus decals and mounted them in the rear side window and gave one to Marc Haibeck which I believe he mounted under his hood. If you Google Lotus Cars decals and badges you will find a number of places selling them. But a British car show is certainly also a great place to find them. --Bob

That is a neat idea....looks almost like it came from Bowling Green that way. I had same idea awhile back, I think I saw a member here had a Lotus sticker and I liked the thought of it. But it is the one thing that people ALWAYS ask, why do you have a Lotus sticker on here??? I don't mind the question because it gives me a chance to tell the tale of the LT5
