50% of the C4's there were ZR-1's, 50% were not. Those numbers don't speak to rarity. Those numbers say ZR-1's are no more rare than base C4's.

I think they are rare, but those numbers don't show that. I think they actually show that ZR-1 owners are more proud to show their cars off than regular C4 owners. Just saying.

I think it says more about the esteem people have for the C4, which is a shame. Arguably the most revolutionary of all corvettes, even without the ZR-1, and , in my mind, still one of the best looking.
