I recently installed a Champion radiator in my 90 ZR1. Part number EC1052. As I remember the price was $168.00.

I know the feeling. Just can’t wait to install, fill with clean green stuff and see how much cooling improvement is achieved.
I have been going through variations of this (engine mod, suspension, new seats, new brakes, so on and on) for the last 10 years.

Is the green stuff still needed in the LT5 if you’re not running OEM head gaskets?

Nice aluminum workmanship.
Especially like the drain **** and the way it’s angled down. Should make for less mess when draining.

Best bang for the buck, probably will buy this one next.
Have to install Dewitts in '90 ZR-1, then Fluidyne in '96 CE LT-1 auto. I'll let you know how the install fitment turns out.

I don’t think so. I have always run Prestone (although I don’t think it’s silicate base of late) and had no issue. I woul stay away from orange stuff (OAT base).

I would still run the GM green stuff. The water pump would appreciate the treatment. I switched to it after losing the second water pump. Just my experience!
