I don't mean to be hard on any Corvette interior as I like all Corvettes, however, when the dust has settled, I don't look back on the C5 interior as "upgrade" over C4. ![]() My thought is C5 interior was not the high investment area of the car...that the largest share of GM's investment went into frame and drivetrain. First thing I thought when I bought my 01 Z06 was that the interior looked very similar to my Tahoe, which was not a good thing.

Could have been worse. In 1976 they took the steering wheel from a Vega and put it into a Corvette. How low can you go? Not much lower than that. ![]() Marty |

I like my 93 sport seats much better than the 94 seats in the Z. so Much so that I will be switching them out. I wish I could have just used my 93 seats but they have a 40th emblem in them so I couldn't do a swap with my LT1 car. As much as I like the 93 seats better, the 94 interior looks more modern than the early interior and I feel the 94 seats do as well. That's a big reason why I haven't rushed to take the 94 seats out. I debated on opening them up and adding bolstering or just going aftermarket.
