Anyone have experience with the fusion system? Is there a big difference between the two settings?

Although my system is not B+B, it is a 3" ID using an Xpipe, NO resonator, DynoMax Ultraflow muffs utilizing C6Z06 NPP valves in tips. So basically, the B+B system for less $. I have a manual switch to open or close the valve on the inner tip. Flipping the switch, the aural difference between open and closed operation is quite noticeable, both outside and inside the car. I'd say 40% would not be overstating it. Its a very good sounding exhaust that is pretty quiet in a steady cruise mode even w both tips open. There are some areas in the rpm range where u get some vibration in the rear hatch area, and is subjective in terms of how much it bothers you. But at 70-80mph cruise, its a pretty nice setup. It also has a nice rumble at idle.

Love the sound of the latest generation Fusions. And no drone, valves open or closed. Open sound is so good, I just ordered a set for my car without valves.

I installed the B&B a few months back. Very little to no drone. My car is now drivable at highway speeds without giving me a headache!!
The directions suck but the system is great. I don’t notice as much difference on my car, I’d say about 30% in sound level. I have no CATS (substrate removed). Last edited by emmvette; 09-28-2018 at 08:27 PM. |

Did you guys go with the full Fusion system or just the mufflers? If the full system, did you get the X-pipe or full resonator?
