Works great, exactly what I use. Will work on most android devices. It uses the ALDLDroid.com andriod app. Just like any ALDL data program the correct communication files are needed. Those are located on the ALDLDroid.com website. I use it on the Amazon fire7, although a generic android device will load it more easily. You can power it directly from your cigarette lighter socket.

Since I have the power wire you can put a lead in your OBD1 port actually. Then it's all self contained. I did this in my ZR1.
