Default Re: Lower Seat Position

Years ago I put a 4-speed in a 64 Nova I had and I made some seat extensions that allowed me to put the seat back a little further, what I made is basically what you would need. I took some 1/2 inch thick aluminum that was 2 inches wide and a few inches longer than the seat mounts. I had some counter sunk threaded allen bolts come up from the bottom of the bracket to the seat frame and then bolted the bracket to the floor. I’ve got a picture I can send in an email.

BTW Joe, speaking of extra room, I’m trying to get a group buy together for the Apsis D shape wheel. I know that would afford you some extra knee room and easier egress. Interested?
Full disclosure, I don’t know that Apsis would be interested but worth a try.
Yes Dom, I would be interested. I don't need the carbon fiber treatment, I just want the D shaped wheel with a "standard" leather wrap. That would fit my theme.

Yeah, I don't need the CF either.
