There is a Polo/Saddle '91 (#1678) for sale at Corvette Center of Colorado Springs, if anyone is looking for that particular color combo. I haven't looked at the car personally, so this is by no means an endorsement of the car or the dealer, but the owner/manager is someone that I'm working with to highlight the ZR-1 at their annual car show... I can make the drive down and check her our if anyone is really interested and needs a personal opinion of the car:
http://www.corvettecenterusa.com/cad91z.htm The car looks pretty clean/stock with polished wheels and K&N filter. It's not cheap though... Last edited by Arctic91; 12-08-2007 at 09:42 PM. |

There seems to be a premium on our cars in this part of the country particularly when they are on a dealer lot.

Exactly why I imported one from out-of-state!!
![]() I noticed that same "premium" when I bought my truck, so it ain't just limited to the Vettes. No idea why that is - except we are kinda isolated once you get away from the Denver-Co Springs areas. I guess it all goes back to basic supply and demand... That car does look clean for the mileage though - it's on consignment, so I suspect the asking price reflects the current owner's desires. You may see the price drop over the winter if he really needs the cash, especially if we have a winter like last year. People we too busy shoveling to think about anything else!! |

I can add my .02....just a thought but, from experience I have purchased cars from PA & other eastern states. Heres what I've noticed..........I found that anything thats not aluminum ie: steel....gets rusty. The aluminum also gets corroded with white dots. The exhaust will almost certainly be rotted. The paint will have more rock chips especially on the lower 1/2 of the car. Clear coat on wheels will be bad. Overall what I guess I'm saying is the cars here are much cleaner overall. The steel fasteners are still the color of steel & not rusty. When the time comes to get under the car & do something the fasteners actually come off & dont break off. I dont wanna get raped, but the western states cars are alot cleaner & IMO worth a little more money. ![]() |

Mine was delivered in Florida in 91' and I bought it from the town in FL where it was delivered. Florida cars have none of the snow area car issues.
