I don't believe this car was in the 2009 sale. The cars sold at that time were the Purple Smash car,Snake Skinner,the Dark Blue car that was used by a vocational school,maybe one of the narrow body convertible. Probably forgetting some here. An interisting note on the Purple Smash car,it's believed to be the Red car in a lot of the GM publicly photos including the solid Red car in this thread and the guy that bought the Purple car also bought the Dark Blue car that was used by a school somewhere.

According to the website, this is #78 out of 83. A production run of 1989s that must of all had the 1989 interior with the digital gauges and those wheels with the lug covers. I also wonder what documentation from GM is still with the car, and what its overall story is.......Does any member on here own one of the 83 produced?

This is the car that sold in 09 that I was referring to. I assumed that it was the same car but I could be wrong.
