I don't like it just because GM has the habit of throwing badges on anything, reguardless of history or performance (like the SS designation on just about every model now). To all most everyone, ZR-1 means our cars, now you may have to explain which one you have. If they want a limited production, superperformance name from the past, L88 has been sitting for a while.

It does not bother me one bit. It may make some of you mad but I would rather have a 650 horse brand new one over my ZR-1 any day.

Taking apart the few owners of a 70's LT1 with the ZR1 package,.....

THERE ALWAYS WILL BE ONE AND ONLY ZR1....

no matter how the BG boys rename their kids....

THERE'S ONLY ONE....

KING OF THE HILL FOREVER.

And remember....

ZR1 means PUSHROD FREE.

I know I’m new to the ZR-1 family, but I’m not a fan of recycling name badges. I know it is somewhat hypocritical considering that there was a ZR1 prior to the C4.
Right, wrong or indifferent, I don’t like it!

Who freakin cares?
A HI PO vette that will blow away the exotics at half the cost.
I'd think that alone would deserve such a prestigous name as ZR1.
You guys are missing the big picture, this should cast more attention on our ZR1 heritage=D>

I completely agree. I think that this is much more like our ZR-1s than say the current or C5 Z06s are. Z06s are basically stripped down performance machines whereas our cars (and now the new ZR1s) have plenty of performance with better ride and all the options included. I think it fits in perfectly as the TOP Corvette, just like ours were a decade ago.
