I have masking tape lines on the front post near the controls noting maximum height for each car. The cars have to go high enough to engage the safety catches so you can relieve hydraulic pressure while the car sits. When you take one down you have to raise it slightly to release the safety catches before lowering. It took some careful trial and error when I first set it up. --Bob

your z looks great. nice pic and I am sure everybody that sees it feels the same that is why I would never park it there. I am a little more insecure about my corvette than other people so I dont like mine anywhere but in my garage. Your car does look great.

Getting a good spot is key to airport parking success! I use a multi story cement one so I can park out of the sun. All the corner spots on the outside ring are wider.
I left my old Lt1 95 c4 at the LAX Park once- those guys loved it. Had it tuned to the Spanish stations and the seat leaned back more... and I could care less- it was a valet park type of arrangement where they get your keys so they pack them in like sardines but never ding the doors. |

Thanks for the compliments! Even driving it often, it should still look good and run as well as possible. I actually had the option of parking it under cover, but that's an extra $5 a day. Me = cheapskate...ok not really. Here's the thing. Parking out in the open, yes it will get a little dirty if it rains, but that's easy to clean. If I parked in the covered spots, I'd come back to a car covered in bird crap because they all nest up in the rafters.

![]() Now that's one thing I would never do...visions of Ferris Bueller in my head. My keys stay with me, 100% of the time. |

I had to do it a few weeks, I made sure I had "the key" with me. They were good though most of the time it was in front of the hotel.
