Two of us in the car well over 100mph, just helmets, stock seat belts. Not a scratch,or cut on either one of us.

I have much respect for the C4 in a roll over crash.

The air bag went off after the second roll Kinda to late, I thought.

ORR rules started including arm restraints about 2001 for the upper two divisions (SS and Unlimited). You could also, at that time have window nets instead of arm restraints. The idea was to keep your arms inside the car in the event of a roll-over. I personally do not like arm restraints so I used window nets. Which used to irritate the starting line guy that would always come around to jerk your seat belts tight right before you started your run. He could not get in to do that. I would always have a short argument with him before getting window nets as my navigator needed to be able to reach forward onto the dash to start the stop watches and could not do that with fully tightened belts. Believe me, we had tight belts very shortly after starting. Mine were already tight and the navigator would pull them tight right after starting the watches. Losing a tire in ORR was always my biggest concern. Depending on where you were on the course if you lost a tire, it could be very bad news. There are some spots on the course that you really did not want that to happen.
