Just the other day I was looking at videos on YouTube of Corvettes and noticed that the majority of Vettes that loose control (butt coming around) were the C5, C6 platforms. Whether it was auto-cross or on the street there are dozens of videos demonstrating the back end loosing control. The C4 platform however is either more stable or lacks the power to get into trouble. I looked for videos to see if I could find C4 Vettes fish-tailing or just having the back come around. No luck.
This is why I started wondering is our set up more stable even though it is not superior to the new tech. Your thoughts........

With the same power the C4 has more potential to unload the rear end. The Wheelbase just went up from generation to generation.
C4 Wheelbase - 96.2 C5 Wheelbase - 104.5 C6 Wheelbase - 105.7 C7 Wheelbase - 106.7 |

I wonder if gm isn't putting more of the trust into the active handling/tc to keep things in line vs actually designing the car to stick.

![]() I don't know, I'm not thinking too hard on this and everyone has a valid possible reason.
