Changing from red to brown would be a big job, it would be easier to just tone down the red if that's what you're starting with. IMO the factory red interior is too much red, I especially don't care for the red carpet. I did my own red/black interior starting with a black interior car, some of the pieces I used were factory and others are custom upholstery shop work.

I replaced my old carpet due to age and beginnings of dry-rot (PO let it sit in the sun, apparently). It had black accents, and I added black seats and black floor and cargo mats. I like it much better than all that red it came with!

Currently changing Black to Crimson Red. When that is done changing Steel Blue to Electric Blue.

Carpets can be made in any color. Here is the link.
