Roberts stuff still doesn't account for the sending unit in the wheel.

There are a couple newer iTPMS systems that can use the external stem/cap style "BT" transmitting OR the internal "stem-type" BT transmitting that report pressure, temperature and location to either I-devices or Android devices. There's maybe as many as 3- 4 and the searches using iTPMS leaves some things to be desired. All of them deserve maybe a look. Some of them will also do OBD2 functions through the same BT display. When I mention "stem-type" I mean the OE type GM/CMC and others have used most recently '00+.
The Orange system was originally an Ohio based company I believe and was then purchased by the current "other shore" developer and there's still some of the earlier product out there as well as the newer. I believe a person needs to be careful with the Orange product - choice of early/late seems to be important OR I know it used to be. I've mentioned the Orange product myself years ago as being a "choice". I still believe if I were to consider anything for newer wheel/tire combinations, Orange might be the first choice. Maybe? |

My set-up is a bit of a project but it's something any do-it-yourselfer with a dremel tool can do in a few hours. My custom screen is on file at the print shop so if anyone wants one I can have more made up.
