Has anyone changed their interior color? Was it a big hassle? How much did you pay? Can any Automotive Upholstery Shop do the job, and do it right without breaking the Bank?
Example: Red interior changed to brown interior. Seats, carpet, back areas, side areas, floor mats, etc. Thanks in Advance ![]() |

I did that last year. Went from Black to Cognac using existing vehicle interior. Also did custom seat covers w new foam. You can start reading here.

You can do a few ways easiest find a donor car or interior out of one. Buy new door panels seat covers and carpet die the hard plastic parts, or a combination of both ways. I'm sure others that have done it will chime in.

How many of you have the bright RED interiors, and if you had any reservations, did the color grow on you?

They both grow on you. I have black floor mats and a black cargo mat in the torch red. Changing the entire interior is sporty and costly plus aggravating. Ted |

What year? 94 and later is easier than earlier.. Mainly because of the dash pad..
It is easy to do.. Just time consuming. I had flame red (offered until 92) in my 89 I did torch red in my 90 BTW bright red was the exterior color not interior

I love the Flame Red in my 91 but wasn't sure how I'd feel about it when I bought the car. My first Corvette was an 80 with red interior and I hated it.

The flame red with a whole car is good, but I thought it was not enough on my black car..
So I did the torch red in the 90
