I don't have to sell this car, but I'm thinking about selling both my vettes to trade up to a C6-Z06 or maybe a C7 if I decide to deal with payments again. I'm putting this out here on this site first to gauge demand and to see if it could be sold at a fair price. My C6 is sold 3 times over to various people begging me to do so and I need to know what I can get for my 91 first.
I'm asking $19K. (I do have spares that I may be able to negotiate into the deal). ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Click the link below for a bunch of photobucket pics and several videos. I may add more videos soon. I didn't even wash it so these pics are very representative of the general condition. http://s29.photobucket.com/user/msch...?sort=3&page=1 I would say that the interior is the best on this car- it is the reason I bought it. There are a few scratches on the d/s seat bolster leather from the previous owner(s), but it is not cut through. Weather stripping is great... This car had 26,900 miles on it 3 years ago when I got it. The list of stuff I have taken care of on this car is numerous (listed below). It currently has 39k miles on it. The paint is an older respray and there are chips all along the very lower panels and on the back wheel well lip as there is no mud flap. there is a touch up spot on the passenger side door which is in the pics. The paint polishes up very nice still, but please know that this car became a driver when I took it over. Mechanically it is tip-top and has some power upgrades. Mods and repairs: -ZFDoc rebuilt and blueprinted transmission- includes 95-up crash-thru reverse detent. Beam plates and new u-joints in d/s. -new stainless Lucas injectors from FIC. -ported plenum and injector housings. -my own chip with appropriate ignition timing for 91 octane at sea level and fueling/tweaks for headers. -(Watson?) 2" primary long tube headers with custom air injection and 3" LS7 catalysts from a C6-Z06 (this car runs clean with these cats- but will not pass visual inspection in CA. I have the stock stuff if needed for an in-state purchase.) -electronically controlled NPP muffler flaps on 3" StainlessWorks exhaust system -stock exhaust and factory manifolds included. -new spicer u-joints in half shafts -rebuilt Bilstein FX-3 shocks with custom valving. -new front hub bearings. -C5 front brake conversion with EBC rotors and Hawk HPS pads. GTO 17" spare tire to fit all four corners. -newer oil cooler lines -newer oem belt tensioner. -ALL fluids replaced under my care. Bose speaker amps repaired/replaced with Nissan Bose amps. CDM tuner replaced last year. -FX-3 system and low tire pressure monitoring system functioning 100%. -DRM rear trailing link relocation brackets. -all kinds of TLC and nickel and dime stuff not coming to mind at the moment. The bad: I only have the clear top. the touched up spot on p/s door bottom. CD player doesn't work. (all else with the Bose stereo does work though) Trades: Let me know if you have a 1999-2006 GMT800 chevy/GMC pickup with a manual transmission and low mileage or a C6-Z06. Do you still have the 1991 for sale and have you got all the paper work to what's been done? I have been looking to buy another ZR1 but want to make sure all things are in working order because the cost of fixing these are way out of most guys out there to fix right. Thanks Dan Onasch

![]() I just drove it to San Diego yesterday and it ran so good... but if you are ready to buy a C4-Z you really shouldn't buy sight unseen. |
