A ZR-1 has no neutral safety switch.
There is a clutch position switch underneath the dash up on the brake/cluch pedal assy. See the Service Manual for details.

So I try it again today and the darn thing starts right up.
After refusing to start, a tow job home and a day sitting in the driveway, it now starts just fine. Why? ![]() |
