Thanks ... will check this tomorrow (time permitting) or Thursday. With key on I capped the vac line between the pump & plenum and it held fine (I once had a leak at that connector). With key on and everything hooked up normally the pump cycles every 5-6 seconds now ... slow leak somewhere.

I have the TB Coolant bypassed ... do I still need to drain off some coolant?
What about a complete coolant bypass? yes or no? difficult?

If I can fix the vac leak, this would be preferable. Thanks for the help.

Real hard to wait for the salt to be gone, with temperatures near 70. It will have to rain first though, just need to resist. So hard to just listen and not drive.

I have to wait for the snow to go, the ice on my drive to go and the mud to dry up. Eye curumba, it's gonna be June before I get out.

Gotta love how these threads migrate. Who started their car today turns into a lesson on how to fix a vacuum leak.

Started mine about 2 weeks ago, but there is no way in Hell I could even make it out of the driveway. Still kind of nice hearing that engine......

Well starting your car up after a long winter is a good way of determining what your next "project" is.
