Valley of Death strikes again
When will I learn to put a rag in the gap between the firewall and back of the engine.
While maneuvering the plenum into place today at some point the vacume hose came off the back of the fuel pressure regulator fell behind the engine. Got my fingers on it but caught something on the way up and slung intself down... down... down... into the VoD. I could see it with a mirror about 10 inches back on top of the tranny. Wasted the next 2 hours with grabbers, vacume cleaners and shop air blasts trying to get it. Frustrated, gave up and made one:[/IMG] Looks a little odd but hope the engine will run ok tomorrow. Been there done that... I usually check my driveway for the lost hardware and if it isn't sitting on the concrete somewhere...well, that's what Jerry is for!
