Sounds like you must be driving it the way it's made to be driven ![]() |

In the Uk 70mph, although that tends to be 80-90 most the time, a bit faster when i'm in the Z.
On my trip France is 130KPH, Switzerland had slow limits, though on the mountain roads I was on the 80kph limit was more than enough - for an idea one road we used was 13km long, climbed 15% and had 350 curves (mostly tight hair pins) on it. Then of course Germany which either had a 130kph or no limit at all!!!! Although unlike previous years the Z didn't get to stretch her legs as much because it was wet part of the time and also busy ![]()

Last month we spent 15 days on the road in "The Beast". Put on 5,000 miles and averaged 24 mpg for the trip.
I have to admit that when on the flat land we were cruising with the key off (unless some extra boost was needed for passing on a two lane road ![]() There were a few days of "spirited" driving that impacted the daily averages. Best tank was 27+ mpg and the worst was 19+ mpg. So IMO the KOTH lived up to its window sticker claim of 25 mpg/highway. |

On the trip to MN last weekend I averaged 24, that was with Marc's chip so the 'key' was effectively on and I also have 4.10s.
Thanks Dave

Drove to Dayton area this weekend and averaged 22mpg which I thought was a bit less than expected. I was driving at 75-85mph most of the time. I think the Marc Randolph chip I have causes secondaries to open a bit too early. Power key is always on.
