Thats good to hear about your 55NA, I'm about to put my 57 293 PP auto to bed for the Winter, sounds like a full tank is the way to go.
We have had Ethanol in our fuel since the early 90's. That stuff still makes me nervous about storage.

I store 4 or 5 Convettes, some for as long as a year.
Have been doing this for 40 years.

I remove negative cable to battery.
Install battery tender to battery
Put Sta-Bil Marine type in tank
Top gas tank
Put 45 lbs air in tires
Sometimes I fog each cylinder if stored longer
