Default I would like to make a suggestion

Whenever I open the home page for the ZR-1Registry, the first words I read are:

PARTS ARE UNAVAILABLE.

I realize its under the Misconceptions banner, but why do that at all? IMO, its a bit too clever. And with the nanosecond attention span on the web, we can't depend on people reading further or in greater depth. Rather than play off the negative, why not accentuate the positive like the sources of the parts who are listed.

Just a thought.

I agree! You could say "Parts ARE available" and it would work just as well. It would also be a positive first impression rather than a negative!

ZR-1 common Biggest Misconceptions.

Parts are unavailable!
While there are a few parts that are a little hard to find, this is really not surprising with a car this age. It's commonality with the base C4 helps and specialist LT5 parts are generally available in either new or reproduction stock. The Registry community can help you find the best sources for parts from among these dedicated suppliers.

Dom,

This was done to try to grab attention and highlight the registry / suppliers. The statement was used by so many GM technicians
over the years and still used to this day.

What do you want to put in it's place?

Lets change it, but lets get lots of ideas!

Dave,

I think myself and a few others have suggested what to put in its place. Are you wanting someone else to write it?

I'm going to suggest just changing the order in which they're displayed. Maybe have performance as the first tab then parts as the second section

Dom,

I'd like to get many ideas on what members want to see on the front page......

I personally like how the front page looks, but if change is wanted / needed? Lets make changes

I agree 100%...I never liked seeing those words, either.

This is a much better alternative IMHO.

I thought you wanted the whole front changed and not just the "parts are unavailable"

Changing the front to:

Parts are available YES that we can change!
