Default Screw for front of Throttle plate Cover

Just wondering what the thread type and size is of the screw that holds the brushed aluminum cover over the Throttle cable connections.

I just need the front single screw, the two on the sides are their.

If anyone has one or knows what the thread type and size is suppose to be let me know.

Thanks Brad

M4.2 X 1.42 X 8 6-LOB pan head tapping screw. (6-LOB = Torx)

GM original # 11514501 and it would be the same for all years. That's for the one in the front.

Google for "6-LOB drive screw" should get you images.

The side I believe is "nutted"?

Thanks I'm going to have to check mine currently. The last time I looked it appeared to be cross-threaded and not seated properly. I guessed it may have been the wrong screw.

Hence the post here.

Thanks for the Info Dave great resource.
