It has been a while, but the last time I spoke with the manufacturer about the TP hoods, they said that they were not making the 4" super high rise hood. However the standard high rise for our C4's have a 2 ¾” rise in the middle and have functional cowl induction.
They use to knock off $100 if you mentioned you were a member of our club if I recall correctly. |

The 2.75" TP hood is @ 40lbs lighter than our standard hood. Another good point is they vent (read limited) at back of the cowl.
I didn't care for the stand out look of the high rise hood. The low proflie sleeper look is what I personally like. Plus even the low rise T/P blocks some view for us short folk. This is my experience , your opinion may vary. Enjoy ! |

I've been giving a Toldeo Pro hood some thought for a while now. I liked the 1" idea by the poster on CF, but I'm not sure about the louvers.
I thought the 2.75" was too tall, but in looking at Clint's Z, that looks nice! Do you have any more pics? |

It would need to be more subtle for me. Bigger bulges and extensions etc. and the C4 loses its grace and clean lines. And that is the strength of the C4 design IMO, how clean, svelte and uncluttered it is. Anything that begins to make it look "Heavier" detracts from that.
It's visible in the side by side you see here. |

Yep but when you sit in it is when you see how really large it is.
