Ok, that made me crack a smile. Been there done ALL that. Glad it's over. They're all "growed" up and now there's time for THE CAR


BTW here is my center console clip made from Aluminum. It's all out of focus
but you can get the idea. No more broken PLASTIC.

How did you affix it to the button slider? Screw? Bolt + nut?

I'm getting my snappics / threads removed blindly as fast as I can, to get in compliance with copyright / license TOS on the boards here (lots of FSM pages and other copyright / license violations on my part; sorry guys). Very good question. First I tried pop rivets but they rubbed on the plastic when the button is pressed. I had to drill them
out and tap in some 40/40 screws. They have to come out flush
to the plate which contains the clip so they don't rub. I took a few more pics.
