hi all, i think its time to change the fuel filter(s). can someone tell me if there is just the one and give me a part#? also any tips on doing the job....as i will be doing it myself as so many of us do

From what little I've read, the stock GM replacements are fine and available.

thanks guys, i went to chevy and they gave me #GF652F ACDelco. can someone confirm this is the correct filter? GM#89058397. thanks!

I think I got a Purlator or something but have not replaced it yet. I got it thinking it may be why my car was running bad, but I checked the pressure at the fuel rail and was all good, so I never replaced it.
I may do it just to see if there will be any difference in the pressure. I was toward the lower end of the factory specs, but still well within good range. |
