I am a Mobil 1 user as well. Aside from having a great product I try to support them as much as possible because they have supported the ZR-1 in various ways such as Morrison's record run.

M1 oil & filters. In everything I own. M1 is just my choice due to GM recommendation & easy to find, not to mention I've never had any oil related problems with M1.

Amsoil, still has the zinc and is cheaper than Redline. Tests even better than Mobil 1 and Redline.

Using Mobil 1 Extended Performance...it contains 50% more of their Super Syn...super syn is the stuff that makes their oil super slippery. Lately I have noticed that the price of the Extended Performance has really jumped compared to the regular Mobil 1. I guess they decided they weres ellin it too cheap...
