Just switched to M1 Extended.

I am a Mobil 1 user as well. Aside from having a great product I try to support them as much as possible because they have supported the ZR-1 in various ways such as Morrison's record run.

I believe M1 Extended has the same lack of zinc now. That is what I've been using to date though.

M1 oil & filters. In everything I own. M1 is just my choice due to GM recommendation & easy to find, not to mention I've never had any oil related problems with M1.

I use 10-30 M1 full syn because everyone else does!

Plus I can buy it in six qt boxes at the local Costco....they're closer & cheaper than any of the local auto parts stores.

Amsoil, still has the zinc and is cheaper than Redline. Tests even better than Mobil 1 and Redline.

Using Mobil 1 Extended Performance...it contains 50% more of their Super Syn...super syn is the stuff that makes their oil super slippery. Lately I have noticed that the price of the Extended Performance has really jumped compared to the regular Mobil 1. I guess they decided they weres ellin it too cheap...

According to Amsoil, they do not have high levels of ZDDP. It seems they don't feel it is necessary, they claim to have other anti-wear additives instead:
