Vin numbers on hard/glass tops for 95 ZR-1

Can someone please confirm if the hard top and or glass top should have the vin or partial vin number stamped on them? If so, where is it stamped. I own a 95 original car with both original tops. I cant find a vin on either? Were they all stamped or just some? Thanks. Chuck

Some mention it's on both but for sure it would be on the transparent top. Drivers side rail front and it would be the last nine of the VIN. I'll post an image shortly for you! Let me correct that it would likely be 9 digits long but the first digit isn't necassarily the "check digit" for the car.
