Seems like quite a price to pay for a 100 Ohm resistor. I'm quite confident the sensor is looking for 100 Ohm and I mentioned that in my post earlier. I'd need to "root around" for some documentation but I'm sure it should be very straight forward.
** I recall when kits to add the DRL function were $60 or so. I couldn't quite get a grip on that! Last edited by WVZR-1; 04-14-2013 at 08:05 PM. |

If you want to add DRL but don't like running the headlights up try here:
http://www.webelectricproducts.com/ You're right WV it's a bit pricey for a resistor but I guess you're paying for the convenience. I don't use either of these, I just found them when I was looking around and sharing info. I run with the headlights down and the driving lights on (manual) - works for me. Dave

When I safetied my 91 last year they required DRL. I used the kit from Corvette Central that turns the signals on. Works good. Only took 10 minutes to install.

Sorry no pics. Corvette Central part # 494087. Costs $50.00. Ties into the big harness along the frame rail drivers side. The instructions tell you which wires to tap into. Easy install.
