Default Spent some time at Miller Motorsports last weekend...

My boy came over from Reno last weekend and we ended up taking the Hawaii car to Miller Motorsports to participate in their Winter X run. It was the last race of their season but we didn't care of course...

Long story short when we unloaded the car everything seemed fine until my boy jumped in to ride with me for the parade lap. The coil-over on the right side made an awful noise as it was rubbing up against the half-shaft. Funny thing was that when he got out it stopped. Unfortunately this was not unfamiliar to me as my 91 did the same with it's coil-overs. The issue stems from the Dog Bones. If your bushings are worn they'll let the rear hub float too far back which will let the coil contact the half shaft. Cheap fix, just takes some time...

Since we already spent time and money I decided to run a few solo laps just to see if she'd be OK. Well after 3 laps my boy said he could hear some noise so we called it a day.

On the bright side: the 368 was pulling hard and sounding great, the 18" BFG-KDW's were holding just fine, the suspension felt tight (has 4 point roll bar and a frame cross bar) and the Willwood's were fantastic. All in all I was in love with this thing. I didn't want to stop but my better judgment got the best of me...

Miller has some great events planned this year so it looks like I'll be getting some track time! Now to go buy a Go-Pro!

Cheers,
RH

sounds like a fun time. I met either the owners or their children at the lfa event briefly, did they have their lfa's out?
