How do I go about getting this info? Is this the museum in Bowling Green? I am not too far from there and could potentially go in person if needed.

That makes sense, don't pay for climate control but do pay for both tops. Nothing special about the ZR-1 glass top, right? I don't have it.

Here is the link to their service: https://store.corvettemuseum.com/ser...buildsheet.asp

You get a slightly better price if you are a member which I strongly encourage. Great organization. --Bob

As others mentioned, most everything is standard on a Z, so a VIN decoder isn't that useful for us.

If you're interested, this site http://www.compnine.com/vid.php provides a database for many, many cars based upon VIN. The site used to be free ... but you can try out a VIN for free I believe.

Looks like this thread got sidetracked while the lights were still lit up on the tree!!! (not the build, but history SINCE THE BUILD)

I too wonder if there's any Dbase with info on VIN's? (other than car fax etc)?

As an update to this post, I just received the build sheet and window sticker in the mail today. I was very impressed with them and highly recommend this to anyone that does not have these documents. Crazy the car cost $60k almost 25 years ago.

There were dealers that were asking a premium for ZR-1 back in 90. Your car may have sold for upwards of 100K.
