I just finished reinstalling my rebuilt bilsteins and I have a couple of pieces leftover. They are black rubber pucks with a hole in the middle. I assume that they are bump stops that were supposed to go on the shock shaft before the cover. Does this sound right and are they for the front or rear? Should have paid closer attention when I took them apart. The FSM doesn't have an exploded pic of the shocks.

They go over the rods and under the rock guard tubes on the front shocks.

Thanks. I thought that was where they went but I didn't know front or back. Back on the hoist!
