There are two, count them, two lights for the tire pressure warning system. One indicates a system failure (the one you're seeing) and the other indicates a tire has low pressure (no matter what MY you have)
The only time I've seen interference is with other ZR-1s around. If you're in a crowd of ZR-1s and someone has a low pressure issue it can kick you SERVICE LTPWS light on.
That's not to say that some radio interference could not interfere with one or more tires reporting in a timely manor but I do not have any direct experience with that.
As far as a WOT run causing a problem? I can't see how.

Thanks Scott. Actually, the light came on after the Wazoo Ice Cream Cruise, and has not returned, so it must have been from a fellow ZR-1.

By any chance is that same part of town approximately 5 miles from your point of origin?

My light comes on after 5 miles which I believe I have read to be the diagnostic distance.
